The Black Sheep Lounge is a must go to place in Welland. It's got a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and great coffee. Staff are friendly and great to talk to. This place actually roasts their own coffee beans, giving their coffee a flavour that serves up a really unique experience. A great locally owned and operated location.

The breakfast was skimpy for $12.99 ..they offer 2 meats but you would think youre getting 2 pieces of meat each but no... you get one slice of each..the homefries were great but very sparce in quantity and we had to ask for everything talking servicewise..disappointing... and it left me running to the washroom twice giving me a Royal Flush so to speak.P.s; the menu is at the door to order.Never to return

We cannot eat gluten and the staff/chef made changes to the menu (by adding a cup of rice) to allow us to have a great lunch. Thanks Blacksheep Lounge. A+++++

This should be one of your main stops if you are passing through or staying in Welland. The high ratings of this place speak for itself. One of the best hangout spots in the city, with ethical food and drink at a good price. The owner is really friendly and treats you like family as soon as you walk through the door. This family owned restaurant is one of the gems in this city and I can't recommend it enough.

It reminds me of a coffee house in Yorkville in the 60s. Great atmosphere great coffee, and a wonderful varied menu.

My wife and family love this place in the Heart of Historic Welland . The atmosphere is very welcoming and unhurried. The coffee fantastic and the food is very good and affordable. The staff is always friendly and treat there guests very well. My wife and her friend feel very comfortable and relaxed at this place thanks. plus as a bonus a fantastic Bakery is next door. Don't let the street fool you there is lots of parking out back. You are also minute walk to some of Welland History of A canal Town. Highly recommended a great addition to Welland! Love the Murual.

Stopped in for lunch ( I only have a half hour) and was pleasantly surprised by the Friendly staff and what to date looks to be the best Taco salad I have ever had! Definitely gonna come back and try the coffee.

Finally got to try this place out ...The verdict is, I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was just as good.I had a Cappuccino and my GF had I believe "devils Mocha" (hot chocolate with 2 espresso shots in it)They have games or cards to play if you wanna just chill.The best way to describe this place is Perks from the show Friends.... It's somewhere I can see myself going on a regular basis to just hang out and have a good cup of coffee....5 stars people!!!

I always have the best experience at The Black Sheep Lounge. Whether it's a quick stop in for an almond milk latte, or enjoying more time to have a bite to eat. One of my favourite places in Welland. Great atmosphere with even better service.

Amazing as usual! Enjoyed chocolate chips pancakes during Sunday allday breakfast and they came with delicious homemade sausage patties. Wouldn't have been a stop at Black Sheep Lounge without a cup on their In- House Roasted coffee 🙌

Love the decor and atmosphere. Delicious food, I've always been impressed with anything I've ordered. Their coffee beans are roasted on site so it smells heavenly too 👌

I had "beef stew" today. Essentially a bowl potato soup with one small chunk of beef and some sweet peas. But with a tip it only came to 17 dollars. You can buy 4 bags for 17 dollars.

I really enjoyed my breakfast. The only reason I'm not going five stars is due to the fact the hash brown potatoes. They taste like they come from frozen

Very much enjoyed the food, the coffee and the atmosphere. The coffee was great. The food (a bit pricey but understandable for fresh ingredients) was delicious. I loved the breakfast potatoes and my friends latte was a work of art. Will for sure be back to try more off the menu!

Great ambience here. It felt like this place is usually full all the time! Black sheep lounge is a family owned restaurant, and if I remember correctly, it was voted Ontario's best cafe for a couple of years recently. The service was quick and the food amazing! Would definitely go back again!

Really cool atmosphere, coffee is amazing as well as other mixed coffee drinks. Good food options for breakfast and lunch. Staff is super friendly and cheerful with fast service. Perfect spot for a mid morning coffee!

Decided to visit while meeting up with a family member, service was awful and confusing (some times we’d be checked on, others I’d have to get up and wait in line ?). My coffee tasted off and the cream was spoiled, when poured into my coffee it was disgusting. The person working told me it was just the acidity of the coffee but no, that was straight up expired cream. Overall embarrassed that I invited someone to meet up here. Not again! And the prices are too high for what you get.

The people who work here are all awesome. The food is great and so is the coffee and specialty drinks.
